Woman strangulated by husband

A 35-year-old woman was strangulated allegedly by her husband in Ahan Kathara village under Kerakat police station area here, police said.

Ananta Pathak had an argument with her husband last night over some issue after which she was severely beaten and later strangled to death, Additional Superintendent of Police Ramji Singh Yadav said.

A case has been lodged against the husband who is absconding, the ASP added.
