A 23-year-old woman was arrested today with handgun outside the White House, shortly after US President Barack Obama finished his announcement on immigration reform.
The suspect is identified as April Lenhart of Michigan. Obama was inside the White House when the arrest happened.
He had just finished his address to the nation on immigration.
According to Secret Service, Lenhart was arrested after its special agents spotted her carrying a 9mm handgun in a holster.
Lenhart was accompanied by another person, who was not arrested and had not been identified by the Secret Service.
