Youth arrested for Rewari teenager's rape

A youth has been arrested in connection with the rape of a 16-year-old girl at Dhani Jarawat village of the district on Saturday, police said today.

Krishan Kumar (19) was arrested yesterday and remanded in 14-days' judicial custody by a local court, police said.

The girl, a student of Class XI, was allegedly raped while returning home from school.

Police had registered a case of rape against the accused on the basis of a complaint by the victim.
