The body of a youth was recovered from fields in Bidhnu district with police suspecting it to be a case of robbery, police said today.
The body of a youth, identified as Yaduveer Singh Yadav (25), was recovered, with the head crushed, from the fields in Khadeshwar village, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Surendra Tiwari said.
Prima facie it appeared to be a case of robbery as no money was recovered from the body, Tiwari said.

The deceased was on his way to Fatehpur to attend some function and his motorcycle was found by the side of a road, he added.
The deceased he said, adding, the body has been sent for postmortem and further investigation is on in the case, they said.
