A 30-year-old man, resident of Shawdi BuinaVillage of Paonta Sahib, was stabbed to death after a brawl between two groups in the compound of a liquor shop late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Jai Singh, police said.
The brawl reportedly ensued on a minor issue of sharing fried eggs ordered by both the groups. A member of the other group, Pramod, allegedly took out the knife and stabbed Jai Singh, who succumbed to his injuries, they said.

SP Police Soumya Sambsivan told PTI that after receiving the information, Paonta police arrested all the three accused within hours.
The arrested persons have been identified as Pramod (28) resident of village Rampur Majri, Sandip (27) and Sachin (26) of village Kotri Vyas under Paonta sub-division, he said.
A case under section 302 has been registered in the Paonta police station and thebody has been handed over to the family members after post mortem, police said.
Singh was son of a Rage Officer working in the HP Forest Department, they added.
