Zinc up 0.4% on overseas cues, spot demand
Metal for delivery in April also rose by 0.42%

Zinc futures firmed up by 0.47% to Rs 118.50 per kg today amid a positive global trend and better domestic demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in March was up by 55 paise, or 0.47%, to Rs 118.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 139 lots.
The metal for delivery in April also rose by 50 paise, or 0.42%, to Rs 119.35 per kg, with a business turnover of 13 lots.
Analysts said besides improved demand in the spot market, a firming trend in copper and other base metals overseas, supported the upside in zinc prices at futures trade.
