"Mad Max: Fury Road" star Zoe Kravitz, Adam Scott and Laura Dern are the latest stars to land roles in the HBO series "Big Little Lies".
The dark comedy is being adapted from Liane Moriarty's popular book by esteemed TV writer David E Kelley, and produced by Reese Witherspoon, reported Deadline.
Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley are set to play mothers of kindergarten-aged children who become involved in a murder plot.

Kravitz will play the much-younger wife of Madeline's (Witherspoon) former husband.
Scott (Parks and Recreation) has signed up to play Madeline's beau, while Dern is cast as Renata Klein.
"Big Little Lies" reunites Witherspoon and "Dern" with "Wild" director Jean-Marc Vallee, who will helm the HBO episodes.
No premiere date has yet been set for "Big Little Lies".
