Zydus Wellness today reported 14.48 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 19.52 crore for the quarter ended June 30, mainly on account of robust sales.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 17.05 crore in June quarter of 2014-15 fiscal, the company said in a filing to BSE.
Consolidated total income from operations of the company also rose to Rs 104.07 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 100.91 crore for the same period year ago.
"The company's performance was driven by its iconic brands - Sugar Free, EverYuth and Nutralite. Continuing with its thrust on new product launches, the company rolled out the 'Advanced Golden Glow Peel off Mask', a home facial...," Zydus Wellness said.
Shares of Zydus Wellness today closed at Rs 887.65 per scrip on BSE, down 2.54 per cent from its previous close.
