Bhilai Steel Export

Steel Authority of Indias Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) notched up exports of Rs 480 crore in 1996-97, selling500,000 tonnes of steel productsin the global market to off-set the slump in the domestic steel industry. Of this, steel plates constituted 318,000 tonnes export, a company release issued here yesterday said.
