Gujral Going To China Next Month

External affairs minister I K Gujral will be going to China towards the end of March to co-chair the sixth session of the joint economic group on trade, science and technology.
The visit will be the first by a senior Indian leader after the death yesterday of Chinaese supremo Deng Xiaoping.
Gujral said yesterday the Chinese patriarch had not only shaped the destiny of China but also helped immensely in improving Sino-Indian relations.
Deng, he added, was a colossus who changed history and contributed directly to building good relations between the two giant neighbours,
