Haryana Banks Told To Better Cdr

Haryana chief secretary Ram Sahai Varma has asked the banks in the state to improve the credit deposit ratio which has declined to 41 per cent in rural areas. Addressing a meeting of state level bankers committee, organised by the Punjab National Bank, the chief secretary sought attention of the bankers in extending finances for the schemes aimed at welfare of women. He promised cooperation of the state government in the recovery of bank loans. (Our Correspondent)
