Haryana Plans Container Freight Station

The Haryana government is setting up an inland container depot-cum-container freight station at Rewari to provide single window clearance to the importers and exporters of the state as well as the adjoining areas of Punjab, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh.

State agriculture minister Karan Singh Dalal said the work on the project will commence soon. The Haryana Ware- housing Corp has also decided to set up an inland container depot-cum container freig- ht station at Palwal in district Faridabad. The feasibility survey for the Palwal project has already been conducted. The state government has now approached the Centre.
