Idbi Mid-Corp Portfolio Chief

SK Chakrabarty, executive director (technical), IDBI has been put in charge of the mid-corporate project finance portfolio. The project finance portfolio was split recently into two, one for mid corporates and the other for large corporates.

Earlier the portfolio was handled by PVNarashiman, ED, IDBI. The bank in a decentralisation move set up five zonal committees and a credit committee. The five zonal committees will report to S K Chakrabarty.

The credit committee will report to the CMD. The zonal committee can sanction amounts up to Rs 15 crore. However, it cannot have an exposure of more than Rs 50 crore in one company.
