It Secure Launches Mailguard

As e-mail gets increasingly popular, a single virus attack can easily become a major company problem as users pass messages across the network. MailGuard examines every inbound and outbound mail for a virus infection.
The product works transparently in the background automatically scanning each mail (even compressed and encrypted files) besides providing high-speed real-time scanning for e-mail servers of all kinds. Virus free messages pass straight to their destination, while infected ones are isolated in a quarantine area and the system administrator is notified. Dr Solomons antivirus Toolkit is the used to disinfect and repair the message before forwarding it to its original destination.

Optimum performance of MailGuard is obtained by setting it up independently of the main network post office. E-mail traffic and infected messages can also be monitored and dealt with remotely.
MailGuard runs on Windows NT platform. It will scan the e-mail server on any system which is directly networked, including Netware, UNIX and OS/2 systems.
