Indian markets fell 5% in November, their worst monthly showing since February. The boarder markets underperformed, with the BSE 500 dropping 6%.
Economic uncertainty due to demonetisation and Donald Trump’s surprise victory in the US presidential elections caused the market to fall. Overseas investors pulled out nearly Rs 18,000 crore from the markets, the highest monthly outflow for 2016, reports Samie Modak.
