Mizo-Mescos Tieup

The Mizoram government is negotiating with Mescos group to run a helicopter service linking Aizawl-Shillong-Silchar-Guwahati and all other district towns in Mizoram. The MI-172, a 26 seater Russian helicopter service, will be a Mescos-Mizoram government collaboration. The state is also seeking an 85 per cent subsidy from the Centre for wet-leasing of the chopper.
