New Drugs

The Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) here has developed a herbal drug to treat diabetes, and an anti-hypertensive cum cardio-protective compound. The two drugs are expected to hit the Indian market this year. CDRI director V P Kamboj disclosed this at the 46th annual day function of the institute on Wednesday.
