New Goldmine

A potential new gold field in Sandur in Karnataka has been identified using new exploration techniques. Gold concentrations up to 2.9 gm per tonne of rock have been found at 10 new locations by a team from the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), Hyderabad, and the Hutti Gold Mines Co Ltd, Hutti.
