Past Cii Chiefs Discuss Economy

The meeting, held twice a year, was attended by 15 past presidents, including Rajeev Kaul, and current president Shakher Dutta.

While minutes of the meeting were not known, a CII source said it was a normal meeting at which free-wheeling discussions on key issues affecting the industry took place and feedback from various industry segments was sought.

The chamber, which yesterday organised a meeting on corporate governance, is planning to have a meeting in Goa soon, under the aegis of the Aspen Institute, which would discuss issues related to corporate governance.
