Rao Resignation Has Little Impact On Sensex

The resignation of former prime minister P V Narasimha Rao from the presidentship of the Congress had little or no impact on the stock market sentiments yesterday. The Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex lost 15.69 points closed the day at 3331.09.

Brokers said the marketmen had already discounted for the political uncertainty following the turmoil in Gujarat.
