Right Method

In India's politicalised trade union scenario, co-operative exchange of ideas through non-directive counselling, appears to be the right methodology to sustain a creative climate.
This would help accommodate divergent views, by creating interpersonal relationships amongst groups of separate inclination, in achieving an agreed change programme.
The process of skillfully listening and encouraging employees problems and identifying an acceptable solution is the only way out. Confrontation would never yield the desired result.
In most situations the interest of the trade union leaders are not always identical with those whom they profess to lead.
Hence, multiplicity of variables have to be considered and a fall back strategy worked out before the probable group behaviour is critically assessed.Simply forcing employees to conform to managements expectation through direction and control measure will never bring about the required change.
