Skoda Slaps Counter-Claim On Ioc

Skoda is understood to have argued that the project was delayed because of IOC's failure to fulfil its part of the commitments that were listed in the contract document. According to Skoda, this had resulted in its workforce and equipment lying idle at the site for long periods.

The Czech firm is also learnt to have claimed that IOC was to a large extent responsible for the delay in the pipe-laying work undertaken by three Indian sub-contractors
