Solar Power Plant

The Centre has sanctioned a second photovoltaic power plant at Sagar island in Bengal. The plant with a capacity of 25kw forms the second phase of the 51kw solar power project being set up on the island. The first phase with a capacity of 26kw came into operation early last year.. PTI
