Systems America To Cart Us Unit To Bangalore

In a significant restructuring move, Systems America will shift its core e-Innovation Center from Silicon Valley, California to Bangalore, and will invest Rs 80 crore in India. Systems America in India will become the group's flagship company.

The company has also firmed up ambitious acquisition plans for e-commerce technology and solutions companies in the US and India. It is also exploring the options of listing in India.

The e-Innovation center will be dedicated to design and development of e-commerce products and solutions for its customers worldwide. This centre will be initially dedicated to develop, design, support B2B integration for Rockwell Collins, an Iowa-based US $ 4 billion Aerospace and Defence company. In the first phase, Rockwell Collins have budgeted US $2.4 million to be spent over the next six months.

 

The state-of-the-art facilities would also be the exclusive development centre for Internet enabling of Systems America proprietary Enterprise Application integration products "interfaceONE".

The restructuring of the Systems America group is aimed at :

*Leveraging its existing strategic relationships.

*Seeking new relationships with leading developers of complimentary enterprise-wide applications particularly web enablement.

*Addressing new geographical markets.

*Expanding its service offerings to new high growth areas such as e-commerce.

*Expanding its base of highly skilled employees and promoting an enterpreneurial culture.

*Pursuing strategic acquisitions.

According to a company release, Systems America B2B e-commerce and EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) services in North America will be directly delivered by the company in India to get a better value because of the competitive advantage of the "Indian offshore model". The scope of work includes e-commerce strategy consulting, e-application and integration.
