Traded Volume At Rs 248.29 Crore

The wholesale debt Market (WDM) at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) saw a traded volume of Rs 248.29 crore to which the bonds of Reliance Industry contributed Rs 60 crore.
The 14 per cent bonds of Reliance Industry saw four trades and was traded at a weighted average yield of 13.64 per cent, at a low of Rs 53.04 and a high of Rs 53.12.

There were no trades done in the treasury bill segment, while the bonds of IDBI and ICICI contributed a volume of Rs 20 crore. The floating rate note of government loan maturing in 1999 witnessed a bulk deal worth Rs 35 crore at a yield of 10.58 per cent and at a price of Rs 102.83.
The 12 per cent government loan maturing in 2008 saw six trades contributing a volume of Rs 32.57 crore
In the regular lot, the paper contributed a volume of Rs 26 crore at a weighted average yield of 12.08 per cent, for a low of Rs 99.35, touched a high of Rs 99.95, before closing at Rs 99.45.
The same paper was traded at a low of Rs 99.45 and a high of Rs 100.40 in the odd lot segment.
The 11 per cent government loan maturing in 2002 saw a volume of Rs 25 crore and was traded at a weighted average yield of 11.56 per cent.
