Us Congressman Underlines Focus On Core Sector

India needs to focus on developming infrastructure to accelerate the pace of countrys economic growth, according to US Congressman Frank Pallone.

Pallone, serving his fifth term in the House of Representatives as a member of the Democratic Party, while addressing a meeting organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here yesterday suggested that India should pay special attention for the development of areas like energy, roads and highways. Pallone, who is also one of the leaders of the Indian caucus in the US Congress, said that there was tremendous scope for US investment in India, particularly in areas like power.
