Flextronics signs MoU with TN govt

The Tamil Nadu government today signed an agreement with Flextronics, a Fortune 500 company based in US, for setting up an electronics goods manufacturing facility at Sriperumbudur with an investment outlay of Rs 430 crore over five years.

Under the agreement, signed in the presence of chief minister J Jayalalithaa, the facility, coming up at the Sipcot industrial park, would manufacture electronic products for leading brands.

Flextronics is a leading provider of electronics manufacturing services.
