Panasonic launches affordable Eluga Pulse X, Eluga Pulse smartphones

Panasonic India on Thursday added two new smartphones in its Eluga series -- Eluga Pulse X and Eluga Pulse. The smartphones have been priced competently – Rs 10,990 for Eluga Pulse X and Rs 9,690 for Eluga Pulse – and are loaded with features like 4G VoLTE connectivity, fingerprint scanner, high resolution cameras etc. to carve a niche in already flooded affordable segment.

“With new variants launched in the Eluga series, launched with different designs and unique features, Panasonic targets various kind of users – youth, working professionals and gaming enthusiasts. The 4G VoLTE enabled smartphone, Eluga Pulse X and Eluga Pulse provide our customers with high speed and access to almost anything on the go and allows the user to take full charge of their life with the availability of speed," said Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India at the launch

The Eluga Pulse X and Eluga Pulse features slim metallic finish body with an HD (1280 x 720) resolution IPS display protected with scratch resistant Asahi Dragon Trail protective glass. Both the devices pack 1.25 GHz quad core processor and boots Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box.

While the Eluga Pulse X offers 16 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM, the smaller variant Eluga Pulse packs 16 GB internal storage and 2 GB RAM. Both the devices feature external memory card slot that allows memory expansion up to 128 GB using microSD.

In terms of camera, both the smartphones sport 13 mega pixel (MP) rear facing and 5 MP front facing selfie camera. 

Both the devices offer comprehensive connectivity options such as 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Also, the devices are fitted with fingerprint scanner accompanied with Android-for-work security.

The Eluga Pulse X is powered by 3,000 mAh battery and the Eluga Pulse is powered by 2,200 mAh battery.

Both the devices will be available on all brand outlets across the country starting next week.
