| Reliance Communications today said it will merge with Reliance Infocomm as part of a process aimed at bringing all the Reliance ADA Group telecom entitities under one umbrella. The amalgamation follows sanction from the courts. Reliance Communications will become the main operating company providing "a basket of telecom services with 21 million individuals and enterprise customers," the company said in an official release on Friday. The process will see Reliance Infocomm merging with Reliance Communications and Reliance Telecom Ltd, the GSM service provider. Carrier company FLAG Telecom will become a 100 per cent subsidiary of Reliance Communications. The company said it expects a market capitalisation of around Rs 50,000 crore. |
