Sasken acquires Finnish firm for Rs 209cr

Sasken Communication Technologies has acquired Finland-based Botnia Hightech Oy, a leading provider of wireless R&D and testing services, for about Rs 209 crore (euro 35.50 million).

With this acquisition, Sasken would be able to establish its presence in Finland in addition to its global development centres in Mexico, China and India.

Rajiv Mody, chairman and CEO of  Sasken, said: "Botnia's European presence and their expertise, combined with Sasken's global reach and India-based development centres, will enable us to offer a compelling portfolio of value-added solutions to our customers across the globe."
