Sutherland setting up facility in Philippines

Sutherland Global Services, the New York-headquartered BPO company is setting up a facility in Philippines, that is scheduled to be operational by next month. The company will employ over 500 personnel in the initial phase.

The company has 10,000 employees worldwide in 14 locations at the US, Canada and India, according to a company release. About 70 per cent of its workforce is located in India.

Sutherland's service portfolio includes process consulting, back office and transaction processing, technology support, help desk, customer care, and account management that address the entire 'customer management lifecycle' of acquisition, retention, support and growth.
