Tata Communications, India’s largest long distance telephony company, on Thursday launched Global VPN Extended Access Service (EAS). The service extends Virtual Private Network (VPN) access to customer sites in over 150 countries that do not require dedicated links.
"We are committed to offering managed services that leverage our global IP reach and enable our customers of all sizes to deploy efficient, optimized solutions," said Genius Wong, senior vice president Global IT and VPN Services.
"This service enables our customers to outsource their global VPN to a single, trusted partner, decreasing management requirements and discovering cost efficiencies," said Claude Sassoulas, managing director, Wholesale Data and Enterprise – Europe, Tata Communications.
