Hollywood star Tom Cruise says he would consider spending 130,000 pounds to fly into orbit and bump into an alien.
	The 50-year-old wants to follow in the footsteps of Ashton Kutcher, who has already signed up with Virgin Galactic's upcoming two-hour mission to space, reported Sun Online.
	"I'm going to let a couple of other people test it out first but it would be great. I was always hoping when I was a kid that we would be travelling to different planets by now," he said.
	On the issue of aliens, Cruise said, "I don't think you can actually count it out. It might be a little arrogant to think we were the only ones in all the galaxies throughout the universe but I've never met one!"
	Cruise plays one of the last men left on Earth after an alien battle ravages the planet in 2073 in his upcoming sci-fi film "Oblivion".

Actress Ameesha Patel, who has not played a lead role on the big screen in a while, says she was just going through a bad phase and now her good time is back.
	The 37-year-old made her debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in 2000 blockbuster 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' and then went on to do hit films like 'Gadar', 'Humraaz' and 'Bhool Bhulaiya'.
	A lull period came in her professional life post 2007 and she did cameos in 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic'. The actress also had issues in her personal life and with her parents.
	"I think as a person and as an actress everyone goes through a phase. Nothing has remained stagnant in my life. My good time is back. I am happy and excited about it," Ameesha told reporters here last night at a promotional event of her upcoming film 'Desi Magic'.
	In 2011, Ameesha launched her production company - Ameesha Patel Productions - with her friend and business partner Kuunal Goomer. She is set to produce three films.

Actress Ameesha Patel says she feels bad for actor friend, Sanjay Dutt, whose conviction has been upheld in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, and hopes things can be "reversed" for him.
	The Supreme Court recently upheld the conviction of Dutt under the Arms Act in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case and sentenced him to five-year imprisonment. Dutt has already served 18 months in jail and will have to serve remaining three years and six months. He has been given four weeks' time to surrender.
	"We feel bad for him... We share same sensibilities as everyone in the film industry. We wish it (judgement) could be reversed," Ameesha told reporters here last night at an event.
	"I would not like to say much as invading someone's privacy is not right," she said.
	Ameesha and Dutt have worked together in 'Chatur Singh Two Star' and 'Yeh Hai Jalwa'.
	The actress also shares a close bond with Dutt's wife Manyata.

"Hangover" star Bradley Cooper is reportedly being eyed to play the role of The Flash in superhero movie "Justice League".
	According to reports, Warner Bros is actively pursuing Cooper to play The Flash in its long-awaited superhero team-up film, reported Digital Spy.
	The reports also suggest that the studio is beginning to doubt the viability of "Justice League" as a project overall, which has been dismissed by writer Mark Millar as "an excellent way of losing USD 200 million".
	"They're scared, they are starting to doubt the whole project. 'Man of Steel' is looking to be a hit but they still have doubts about Justice League. That's why they're trying to bring in some big names to make sure this thing gets off the ground," a source said.

Boy band One Direction reportedly play records of screaming girls during their practise sessions to get the feel of a concert.
	The band has been using the sounds to help them perform better in a crowd, reported Daily Mirror.
	"It helps them manage their vocals. There's little point rehearsing in an empty arena because it's completely different when the venue is filled with people making noise. Adding screaming sounds is the only way to make the sound check realistic," a source said.
	Band member Louis Tomlinson, 21, had earlier said he has become partially deaf in his right ear because of all the screaming.
	"It's tinnitus, something like that. Our fans are always very loud, especially Scousers," he had said.

	The musical drama is about a man who creates a band in honour of his deceased son after discovering songs written by him.
	"Fargo" actor Macy, who is currently starring on the US TV remake of 'Shameless', will also star in the film alongside his wife, 'Desperate Housewives' actress Felicity Huffman.
	The actor-turned-director co-wrote the film's script with Casey Twenter and Jeff Robison. It is due to begin filming in Oklahoma in April.

	Mayer and Perry parted ways last week after dating for about a year, reported Aceshowbiz.

Veteran actor Michael Caine has abandoned his plans to retire from Hollywood, insisting he will keep making movies until directors no longer want him.
	The Oscar winner fuelled speculation about his retirement plans after he hinted he was planning to turn his back on the film business when he reaches the age of 80.
	Caine marked the milestone last month but he has now reversed his previous decision and vowed to continue acting, reported Daily Star.

The Bombay High Court has rejected the plea of Bollywood producer Ramesh Sippy which sought a stay on production and release of Hindi blockbuster 'Sholay's' 3-D version being made by his nephew Sasha.
	Sippy, the director of 'Sholay', is in dispute with Sasha over the rights of the film which was released in 1975 and created many records.
	Sasha, son of Sippy's brother Vijay, had recently announced making 3-D version of the film to be distributed by Jayantilal Gada.
	Being aggrieved, Sippy moved the High Court.
	Hearing Sippy's petition, Justice S J Kathawala yesterday refused to grant any relief saying his court was not inclined to give a stay on production and release of the 3-D version at this stage.
	The judge said that first he would frame preliminary issues raised by Sasha and his associates.

Actor Aamir Khan is said to be learning Bhojpuri for his upcoming Rajkumar Hirani directed movie "Peekay".
	The 48-year-old has been taking lessons over the last four months as his character in the movie demands fluency in the language.
	"Aamir has been trying to master Bhojpuri for the last four months. Everyone is wondering why he has been learning a language that is traditionally spoken in east Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, when the film has largely been shot in Rajasthan. This is a new twist to the tale. There is a lot of curiosity as to what the film is about," a source said.
