The Kodarma Lok Sabha Constituency of JHARKHAND state is currently held by Ravindra Kr Ray of BJP. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Ravindra Kr Ray beat Rajkumar Yadav of CPI by receiving 35.70 per cent of the votes cast in this constituency.

Kodarma is one of the constituencies in 14-seat Jharkhand. At the time of the previous Lok Sabha elections in 2014, Kodarma had 1,639,629 registered electors -- 870,016 of them male and 769,613 female. The constituency had seen a 62.51% voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In Kodarma the male voter turnout was 61.55% and 63.59% female voters turned out for voting.
