The Indore Lok Sabha Constituency of MADHYA PRADESH state is currently held by Sumitra Mahajan of BJP. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Sumitra Mahajan beat Satyanarayan Patel of CONGRESS by receiving 64.90 per cent of the votes cast in this constituency.

Indore is one of the constituencies in 29-seat Madhya Pradesh. The constituency had seen a 62.25% voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In Indore the male voter turnout was 66.59% and 57.50% female voters turned out for voting. The participation of women candidates in this seat was 5.
