Devotees celebrate 10-day long 'Painkuni Festival'

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Apr 20 (ANI): Devotees celebrated 10-day long 'Painkuni Festival' with great pomp and show in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram. To mark the closing ceremony, a procession was held from Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple carrying deities on elephants and chariots. The 'Painkuni Festival' is one of the main annual festivals of Kerala and is celebrated in the month of April every year.
