Famers' protest continues for 7th day in Karnataka's Mandya

Mandya (Karnataka), Jun 27 (ANI): Farmers continued to protest for 7th day in Karnataka's Mandya. They demanded release of water from the Cauvery basin to their paddy fields. Several parts of South Indian state of Tamil Nadu are struggling with acute water shortage. A drought advisory has been issues to state by Centre for depleting water levels in its reservoirs.
