

New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): Former foreign minister and Congress leader Natwar Singh on Monday said that he is in favour of India's partition after independence.  Adding on it, he said the Muslim League would not have allowed Congress government function if partition had not taken place. He further said, "If India had not been partitioned, Muslim League would not have let Congress government function. So, I am a supporter of the partition."

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust on Monday launched its QIP issue to raise up to Rs 3,500 crore by issuing shares to institutional investors.
In a regulatory filing, Brookfield India Real Estate Trust informed that the Issue Committee of the board of directors of Brookprop Management Services Pvt Ltd -- manager to Brookfield India REIT -- approved the opening of the QIP (qualified institutional placement) issue on Monday.
The panel approved the floor price of Rs 287.55 per unit.
The unit price closed at Rs 290.73 apiece on the BSE.
Last month, the company's unitholders approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 3,500 crore.

With a majority of Indian professional actively seeking opportunities to upskill, the country has emerged as the global leader in technological adaptation, according to a report.
More than 70 per cent of Indian professionals are actively seeking opportunities to upskill, said the report released by the Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)-based Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC).
The report highlights the dynamic nature of India's job market, where artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation are becoming integral.
"While global trust in governments to support upskilling remains low at 20 per cent, Indian respondents (31 per cent) and those in Saudi Arabia (35 per cent) demonstrated significantly higher confidence in their governments.
"In contrast, countries like the USA (15 per cent) and UK (12 per cent) reported markedly lower trust levels. Indian respondents also expressed 49 per cent trust in businesses, further emphasizing the private sector's role in workforce development,"

The Union Public Service Commission on Monday declared the results of the civil services (main) examination for the selection of candidates for the IAS, IPS and other central services of Group A and B posts.
In a statement, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) said the results were declared based on exams held from September 20 to 29.
The UPSC said the successful candidates in the main examination have qualified for the personality test for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Groups A and B).
The candidature of these aspirants is provisional subject to them being found eligible in all respects, it said in the statement.
