Ram Navami: Priests offer prayers at Tirupati Balaji behind closed doors amid lockdown

Tirumala (Andhra Pradesh), Apr 02 (ANI): On the auspicious day of Ram Navami, the pundits offered prayers at the famous Tirupati Balaji temple in Andhra Pradesh's Tirumala. 'Panchamrit Abhishek' was also offered to idol of Lord Ram, Sita and Hanuman here. It is the first time in 128 years that hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala closed their doors for devotees in the wake of pandemic coronavirus.
