The film, based on AJ Baime's book "Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans" and to be directed by "Logan" helmer James Mangold, will feature Matt Damon and Christian Bale in the lead. Sparks, who is best known for starring in Netflix's "House of Cards", will portray the role of Leo Beebe, Henry Ford's longtime public relations executive, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie is about the feud between Ford and Ferrari as they both competed to win Le Mans World Championship in France in 1966. Damon will portray automotive visionary Carroll Shelby while Bale is playing British driver Ken Miles. The project will be produced by Chernin Entertainment.

Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan, arrested on the charge of making an inflammatory speech over the Salem-Chennai highway project, was today granted bail by a court in Salem. Principal District Judge P Mohanraj allowed the bail petition and directed Khan to appear before the police whenever he was summoned. The actor was arrested on June 17 in connection with his speech against the eight-lane greenfield project.
