'Race 3' emerges as biggest opener of the year till now
Salman Khan-starrer 'Race 3' has emerged as the biggest opener of the year (yet) with Rs. 29.17 crore business on its day one on Indian box office.With this gigantic figure, 'Race 3' has become Salman's fourth highest Eid opener till now. First three positions are held by 'Sultan' (Rs. 36.54 crore), 'Ek Tha Tiger' (Rs. 32.93 crore), and 'Bodyguard' (Rs. 21.60 crore).The business is expected to rise over the Eid weekend.'Race 3' is a stand-alone sequel to the hit franchise 'Race'. With the third installment, Salman has replaced Saif Ali Khan who played the lead in first two films.Starring an ensemble cast of Salman, Jacqueline, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Freddy Daruwala, Saqib Saleem, and Daisy Shah, the action thriller is one of the most awaited films.Produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films, 'Race 3' is directed by Remo D'souza.The film hit the theatres on June 15.

Actors Alexis Bledel and Kurt Russell are all set to star in the indie thriller "Crypto". Bledel, who currently stars in second season of "The Handmaid's Tale", and Russell will be joined by actors Luke Hemsworth, Jeremie Harris, Vincent Kartheiser and Beau Knapp in the new film.
