The "Hero" hitmaker revealed in April that she is suffering from bipolar II and is taking medication and having therapy to alleviate the condition. ''The thing that some people don't realise, before all this started, we are all just people. Everybody has their own stuff that they deal with, grew up dealing with, just any type of adversity that you have to overcome. We all go through things and that's part of life. "The main thing is to stay hopeful and optimistic, I think," Carey said during an interview on UK TV show "Lorraine". The singer said she was overwhelmed by all the support she received from her fans all over the world when she took the decision to go public with her bipolar, 17 years after she was first diagnosed.

Have to fight harder for gender pay gap: Emilia Clarke

"Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke says it is "shocking" to discover that so many women in the business are paid less than their male counterparts. The 31-year-old actor, who stars as Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO series, says she has always been paid the same as her male co-stars, but believes people need to fight "harder" to completely eliminate gender pay gap. ''On 'Game of Thrones' I've always been paid the same as my male co-stars. But it's shocking when you start to dig deep and see it's rife in the industry. You have to fight harder for that stuff," Clarke told Ok! magazine. The actor said she gets "frustrated" when people ask her about playing strong female characters. ''I'm like: 'I'm going to tell you how it feels to play a woman.' The end. That's it. Find another adjective, damn it! I'm just playing women. Enough already with the strong woman. I get frustrated with that. You don't get strong me unless it's physically strong," she said.

Pakistan reduces two weeks ban on Indian films during Eid

Pakistan's Information and Broadcasting Ministry has decided to reduce the ban on the screening of Indian films during Eid from two weeks to one week, clearing the way for the release of Salman Khan-starrer "Race 3" and biopic "Sanju". The Ministry announced in a fresh notification on Monday that the ban on screening Indian films will now be for two days before Eid and one week after the holidays, reversing the previous ban for two days before and two weeks after the festival. Bollywood films, particulary the ones starring Salman Khan, have a huge fan following in the country and there was a huge pressure from local film distributors to defer the release of Indian films as they would affect their business. However, distributors lobby with rights to Bollywood films is against the two-week ban of Indian films as the festive period is the most lucrative time for the movie business. The Ministry said it had taken the initial decision to promote the local films -- Mahira Khan's "7 Din ...

"Shadowhunters" will not return for its fourth season at Freeform and the show's third spell will end this spring with a two-hour finale. Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that producer Constantin Film lost its output deal with Netflix, which backed the expensive project at the network. However, along with our partners at Constantin, we reached the very difficult decision not to renew the show for a fourth season. Woody Allen allegations should be looked into again, says Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz says Dylan Farrow's sexual abuse allegations against filmmaker Woody Allen should be ''looked at again''. Dylan, the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow and Allen claimed that the 82-year-old director molested her when she was just seven-years-old, but after her mother took the case to the authorities in 1993, prosecutors decided not to press charges. Dylan has been vocal about her accusations several times since, most recently after the rise of the #MeToo and Time's Up movements. "The only answer that I can give you with common sense that is not about a headline is, the case has to be looked at again," Cruz told Vanity Fair. "The important thing is, if there is a case anywhere in the world that isn't clear, then why not look at it again? I am in favour of that," she added. Cruz, who won an Oscar for performance in Allen's 2008 film "Vicky Christina Barcelona" and reunited with the director in the 2012 comedy "To Rome with Love", said that she would not make a decision about .
