Chetan Bhagat signs six books deal with Amazon Publishing

English author Chetan Bhagat today signed a global deal for next six books with Amazon Publishing with the first book releasing in October this year. According to a statement by the publishing company, the deal includes three fiction and three non-fiction books to be published globally in print, eBook and audio formats over the course of next five years. While being excited for the deal, the bestselling author of 'Five Point Someone' and '2 States' promised to reveal the details later. "I am delighted to partner with Amazon Publishing as my publisher for my upcoming books. Amazon to publish next 6 books of Chetan Bhagat

In a mega deal, Amazon Publishing today announced that it would bring out the next six books by popular author Chetan Bhagat. Rupa has published all of Bhagat's nine books since his debut in 2004. The first book of the new deal will be published in October. Westland, an Amazon company, will distribute these six books - three fiction and as many nonfiction titles - in India. The books will be published globally in print, eBook and audio formats and also be available in multiple Indian language versions. Tilda Swinton, Hugh Laurie join 'David Copperfield'

British actors Tilda Swinton and Hugh Laurie have joined Dev Patel in the "The Personal History of David Copperfield". The film takes a modern look at Charles Dickens' "The Personal History of David Copperfield" with Patel playing the titular character. Armando Iannucci, best known for the films "In The Loop" and "The Death of Stalin", is directing the project from a script he co-penned with Simon Blackwell, reported Variety. Once costumed and now armoured, superheroes have evolved from unidimensional caricatures out to save the world to fallible men and women with human frailties and flaws, no longer appealing to just teens but offering a slice of real life along with entertainment to discerning audiences.
