It was my first love. I just fell head over heels for her. I was totally besotted. But I never had the courage to tell her. The film is more than just bromance versus romance. 'Punchnama' was also not against women, but against wrong relationships," Aryan told PTI. The actor, who found fame with the meltdown monologue of a hassled boyfriend in the 2011 film, says his aspiration in the beginning of his career was to become the biggest romantic hero. "I am happy that people remember me as the 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' monologue ...

How can copyright exist on the unpublished life story of an individual, even if he is a war hero, the Delhi High Court has asked the family of a 1962 Sino-Indian war martyr based on whom a biopic is being produced. The family members of Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, who was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra for gallantry, have been opposing the making of a film about him, saying the story was a violation of copyright as well as breach of their privacy. Justice Vibhu Bakhru, before whom the matter was listed for hearing, said as there was no published work or material on the war hero's life, the Copyright Act would not apply. Rawat was martyred during the war in 1962. "How can there be any copyright on an unpublished work, even if it is a life story of a war hero," the court said. It, however, listed the matter for further hearing on February 21, when the petitioner, the brother of the war hero, has to show what right he has to demand that the biopic should not be filmed. This was a difficult film like 'Piku' and 'Madras Cafe'. I do not select stories thinking anything specific, I just go by what I like, what comes to my mind," Shoojit told PTI. The director says he chose Varun Dhawan for the film because he wanted to tap his potential as an actor and show him in a different light. "There are certain potentials that I like to tap as a director in actors. I tried that with Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan in 'Piku' and Taapsee Pannu in 'Pink'. He (Varun) is hungry and ready to surrender and when you find that in an actor, what else do you want. I do not want anybody to do a ...
