The teaser for Disney's live-action remake of 1992 animated hit 'Aladdin' is out and it introduces the audience a whole new world.The teaser trailer opens with a bird's shadow gently gliding over the desert until Agrabah, the city of mystery and enchantment, appears in the distance. The bird, which turns out to be a parrot, leads toward a deep, ominous voice. #MeToo effect: Akshay Kumar ask producers to cancel shoot of Sajid Khan's 'Housefull 4'

Actor Akshay Kumar Friday said he has requested the producers of "Housefull 4" to halt the film's shoot, asserting that he will not work with any "proven offenders". "Housefull 4" is being directed by Sajid Khan and features actor Nana Patekar, who have been accused of sexual harassment. Stringent action should be taken against the offenders, Kumar said in a brief statement posted on Twitter. "I've just landed back in the country last night and reading all the news has been very disturbing. I've requested the producers of Housefull 4 to cancel the shoot until further investigation," he wrote. "This is something that requires stringent action. I will not work with any proven offenders and all those who have been subjugated to harassment should be heard and given the justice they deserve," the 51-year-old actor added.

'True Detective' season three to premiere on January 13, 2019

HBO has announced that the third season of anthology series "True Detective" will premiere on January 13, 2019. The third season, created by Nic Pizzolatto, tells the story of a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks, and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods. It will feature Oscar winner Mahershala Ali as Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas.
