'How to Train Your Dragon 3' to be final in the series

The "How to Train Your Dragon" film franchise is set to come to its end with its third installment, which hits the theatres early next year. Writer-director Dean DeBlois has confirmed "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" will be the last in the series. "We thought about it for a long time and came up with what we think is a bittersweet way to say goodbye to these characters, but the right way," DeBlois told EW. The first trailer of the film dropped back in June and featured Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel) having realised his dream of creating a peaceful Viking-Dragon utopia. But the trailer also heard him say, "There were dragons when I was a boy," a reference which DeBlois said fans will understand after watching the film. "You will understand why Hiccup says (that). Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla to reteam for family comedy

Long-time collaborators Rishi Kapoor and Juhi Chawla are set to reunite on screen after over two decades for a family comedy. The duo was last seen together in "Daraar" (1996). The untitled film will be co-produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in India and MacGuffin Pictures, a press release said. The movie will be directed by debutante Hitesh Bhatia. Set in Delhi, the production on the film has just begun. Bhatia has co-written the film with Supratik Sen. Superstar Salman Khan has yet again introduced a fresh face to Bollywood.The 52-year-old on Monday formally made an announcement about Pranutan - the granddaughter of the legendary Nutan and Mohnish Bahl's daughter. "Thugs of Hindostan", featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in the lead roles, will hit the theatres on November 8. The Yash Raj Films project also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Apart from announcing the release date, YRF also unveiled the logo of action entertainer. Veteran Malayalam actor Captain Raju dies

Noted Malayalam actor Captain Raju passed away here Monday morning, film industry sources said. He was 68. He is survived by his wife and a son. The veteran actor, known for his villain roles, had been undergoing treatment after he fell unconscious during a flight to the US two months ago, the sources said. Raju was brought to Kochi from a hospital in Oman where he had been admitted, they added. He began his film career in 1981 with 'Raktham' after retiring from the Indian Army and acted in over 500 films including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. He is best known for his performances in Mohanlal-starrer 'Nadodikkattu', 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha' and 'CID Moosa'.
