The "How to Train Your Dragon" film franchise is set to come to its end with its third installment, which hits the theatres early next year. Writer-director Dean DeBlois has confirmed "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" will be the last in the series. "We thought about it for a long time and came up with what we think is a bittersweet way to say goodbye to these characters, but the right way," DeBlois told EW. Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla to reteam for family comedy
Long-time collaborators Rishi Kapoor and Juhi Chawla are set to reunite on screen after over two decades for a family comedy. The duo was last seen together in "Daraar" (1996). The untitled film will be co-produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in India and MacGuffin Pictures, a press release said. The movie will be directed by debutante Hitesh Bhatia. Actor Casey Affleck has said his brother Hollywood star Ben Affleck is trying hard to get over his alcohol addiction for the sake of his kids and their mother, ex Jennifer Garner. I think for his kids' sake and for their mom, and for himself, he's trying to do the work and get it together," Casey told Entertainment Tonight. "Ben is an addict and an alcoholic. Most of my grandparents are alcoholics. My father is an alcoholic, as bad as you can be, and he's been sober for about 30 years. I've been sober for about six years," he added. The Yash Raj Films project also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Apart from announcing the release date, YRF also unveiled the logo of action entertainer. Vijay Krishna Acharya is directing the movie, which marks the first collaboration of Bachchan and Khan. "Thugs of Hindostan" has been extensively shot in picturesque locations of Malta and Rajasthan.
Veteran Malayalam actor Captain Raju dies
Noted Malayalam actor Captain Raju passed away here Monday morning, film industry sources said. He was 68. He is survived by his wife and a son. The veteran actor, known for his villain roles, had been undergoing treatment after he fell unconscious during a flight to the US two months ago, the sources said. Raju was brought to Kochi from a hospital in Oman where he had been admitted, they added. He began his film career in 1981 with 'Raktham' after retiring from the Indian Army and acted in over 500 films including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. He is best known for his performances in Mohanlal-starrer 'Nadodikkattu', 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha' and 'CID Moosa'.
