A range of diverse and acclaimed films, including 'Mary Kom', 'Newton' and 'Ship of Theseus' have been line up for screening as part of the annual Sarang festival, an 11-day cultural carnival introducing India's colourful and varied heritage at venues across South Korea. The 11-day festival, hosted by the Indian Embassy in Seoul, began on September 6 with a whole host of cultural activities, including classical music and theatre performances, organised so far. The fourth edition of the festival seeks to boost cultural exchanges between the two countries. The Indian Film Festival, part of the cinema segment of Sarang, began Tuesday, according to information shared by the Indian Embassy. The last screening will take place on September 16. The films lined for the festival include 'Mark Kom', 'Newton', 'The Ghazi Attack', 'To Let' (Tamil), 'Sinjar' (Malayalam) and 'Ship Of Theseus'. Denzel Washington's "The Equalizer 2" has locked September 21 as its India release date. According to a statement, Sony Pictures India is releasing the film in the country. Washington, 61, reprises his role of Robert McCall, a retired soldier who returns to his violent life after colliding with a group of violent Russian gangsters. The film is a follow-up to the 2014 "The Equalizer", which was based on the TV series of the same name. Antoine Fuqua is returning as the director for the sequel. Director Ashwini Iyer Tiwari has dismissed reports that she signed a non-interference clause with actor Kangana Ranaut for their film "Panga".
