Denzel Washington's "The Equalizer 2" has locked September 21 as its India release date.
According to a statement, Sony Pictures India is releasing the film in the country.
Washington, 61, reprises his role of Robert McCall, a retired soldier who returns to his violent life after colliding with a group of violent Russian gangsters.
The film is a follow-up to the 2014 "The Equalizer", which was based on the TV series of the same name.
Antoine Fuqua is returning as the director for the sequel.
Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Melissa Leo and Bill Pullman are also part of the cast.
