'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' planning to shoot #MeToo episode

Cher announces ABBA covers album

Pop legend Cher has announced an album full of ABBA covers which will be released on September 28. The album, titled 'Dancing Queen', will feature 10 tracks including "Waterloo, "Mamma Mia" and "Fernando". The 72-year-old singer and actor most recently appeared in "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again". "I've always liked Abba and saw the original 'Mamma Mia' musical on Broadway three times," Cher said in a statement obtained by Variety. "After filming 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again', I was reminded again of what great and timeless songs they wrote and started thinking 'Why not do an album of their music?'" she added. Audiobook this fall reveals Rowling's magical influences

An audiobook coming out this fall will reveal some influences behind the wizardry of Harry Potter. The audio producer and seller Audible Inc announced today that "Harry Potter: A History of Magic" will go on sale October 4. Narrated by Natalie Dormer of "Game of Thrones" fame, the book will feature "hidden stories" about magic and tell of the manuscripts, myths and other artifacts that JK Rowling drew upon for her blockbuster fantasy series. The audio work will be published by Rowling's Pottermore Publishing and can be pre-ordered at www.audible.com/historyofmagic . Shakti Bhatt First Book Prize shortlist announced

This year's Shakti Bhatt First Book Prize shortlist has an interesting line-up of authors - a UK-born broadcaster-academic, an Indian-American, a teacher from Abu Dhabi, an oral historian, a Pakistani journalist and editor of a travel magazine. This We That Are Young (Preti Taneja), Ants among Elephants (Sujatha Gidla), Temporary People (Deepak Unnikrishnan), Remnants of a Separation (Aanchal Malhotra), The Sensational Life and Death of Qandeel Baloch (Sanam Maher) and How to Travel Light (Shreevatsa Nevatia) will vie for the Rs 2 lakh award. The shortlist was chosen by Sattar (who runs the Sangam House international writers' residency programme) and writer Jeet Thayil. The Shakti Bhatt First Book Prize is funded by the Shakti Bhatt Foundation. It was set up in 2008 in memory of young writer Shakti. This year's judges, Githa Hariharan, Sampurna Chattarji and Raghu Karnad, will announce the winner in November. The shortlist reflects the experience of the outsider, the one who does not .
