G&B-Godrej Properties partnership to continue for Vikhroli land development

Godrej & Boyce and Godrej Properties on Wednesday said they would continue their association for land development at Vikhroli in Mumbai, a day after the founding family of the Godrej group announced an amicable split of the conglomerate. In a joint statement, Godrej & Boyce, owner-developer, and Godrej Properties, the development manager, said the two companies will continue their Memorandums of Understanding executed from time to time, for development of land in Vikhroli as and when the owner is desirous of developing the land. Godrej Construction, a business of Godrej & Boyce, designed and built four phases of Godrej Platinum, a residential development project with a total constructed area of 1 million square feet, which has been marketed by Godrej Properties. Godrej Electricals & Electronics secures orders over Rs 1,000 cr in FY'24

Godrej Electricals & Electronics on Thursday said it has secured orders worth over Rs 1,000 crore in financial year 2023-24 in power and infrastructure business. These orders predominantly entail both Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substations across India, with certain projects of up to 765kV capacity, a company statement said. Each of these projects range from Rs 100 crore to Rs 400 crore in value, it added. Godrej Consumer registers mid-single-digit volume growth for Jul-Sep

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd has recorded mid-single-digit volume growth for the July-September quarter in the domestic market despite weak macros and adverse weather conditions. "Overall, Home Care volumes grew in mid-single digit while Personal Care grew in low-single digit," said Godrej Consumer Products Ltd in a quarterly update on Thursday. The performance of Park Avenue and KamaSutra brands, which the Godrej Group FMCG arm acquired earlier this year from Raymond Group, has "improved sequentially and are on track to achieve full-year guidance", it added. "In India, we witnessed weak macros and adverse weather conditions during the quarter. Despite the tough operating environment, our organic business delivered steady performance with mid-single digit volume growth," Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) said. Godrej Consumer Products plans to raise Rs 5,000 crore via NCDs

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) on Tuesday said it has plans to raise Rs 5,000 crore from the market through the issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The FMCG arm of the Godrej group, which is having a board meeting to approve its financial results on June 10 for the March quarter, would also consider a proposal for fundraising, the company said in an update on board meeting. "... at the same meeting, the board may also inter alia, consider approval of raising of funds by way of issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) aggregating to an amount up to Rs 5,000 crore in one or more tranches," said GCPL in a regulatory filing. The amount would be raised in one and more tranches, said GCPL which owns popular brands such as Good Knight and HIT. Last week, GCPL announced the acquisition of the FMCG business of Singhania-controlled Raymond along with brands, Park Avenue, Kamasutra and Premium, for Rs 2,825 crore.
